Lubbock is the Hub City of commerce and culture and that is represented well through its festivals and events.  All year round, the city host plenty of festivals and events, ranging from music, art and culture to food, Texas-style state fairs, traditional celebrations, and much more. Regardless of when you visit the “Hub City”, you’re sure to have fun as there is something interesting going on throughout the year. The city’s weather is unpredictable. It is the tenth windiest city in the United States. However, the best time to visit Lubbock is spring and fall with mild temperatures. Summer is also a comfortable season.  Make sure you pack the right clothes for your Lubbock holiday. For pleasant weather, pack T-shirts, shorts and flip-flops. A windbreaker and heavy coat/jacket are must-haves during the winter season in Lubbock.
